No. Scaling and root planing treats areas below the gumline when indicated for periodontal disease. A regular cleaning and periodontal treatment serve different needs.
Can I request a regular cleaning if I need periodontal care?
An examination determines which treatment is appropriate. We will explain the findings and options before care begins.
Does the $99 offer cover deep cleaning?
No. The new-patient offer includes a regular cleaning only. Deep cleaning, including scaling and root planing, is excluded.
Will gum care require more than one visit?
