DENTAL KRAFTS · PATIENT INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Understand what happens to information you share when you browse our website or contact our Sacramento dental office.
Effective date: September 12, 2026.
What this policy covers
This policy describes the Dental Krafts website and the ways you can contact our office through it. Information used for your dental treatment, payment and health care operations is also subject to our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable California law. This website policy does not replace that notice or authorize uses of protected health information.
Information you provide and information collected automatically
- Contact and scheduling details: your name, telephone number, email address, whether you are a new or existing patient, appointment preferences and the information you choose to send us.
- Text-message details: the mobile form asks for a name, patient status, visit interest, preferred day and an optional note. It prepares a message in your browser; the form itself does not submit that message to our web server. If you send it from your messaging app, the office receives the message and your sending number.
- Booking information: the embedded dental4.me scheduler collects the information you enter into that service. Your booking interaction is processed by the scheduling provider and the practice.
- Technical information: hosting, security, analytics and advertising services may receive your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referral information, approximate location inferred from your IP address, interaction events and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Public reviews: our Google review display includes review text, ratings and reviewer information made available through the review service. Public review sites have their own privacy practices.
Please do not put Social Security numbers, payment-card details, detailed medical histories or other sensitive information into ordinary email or the mobile texting form. Contact the office for the appropriate way to provide clinical or financial information.
How information is used and shared
We use contact information to answer questions, coordinate appointments and follow up on requests. Website information helps operate the site, troubleshoot problems, protect security and measure website and advertising activity.
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, communications, scheduling, security, website operation, analytics or advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or when legally permitted to protect rights and safety. Any handling of protected health information remains subject to applicable health privacy requirements; this website policy is not a HIPAA authorization.
Your choices and privacy requests
- You can call the office instead of using an online booking, texting or financing feature.
- You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some embedded services may work differently when cookies are restricted. Changes may need to be made separately for each browser or device.
- The website does not currently use a browser’s traditional Do Not Track signal to turn off its embedded services or advertising tags. Third-party providers may offer their own controls. This statement does not replace any separate privacy rights that apply under law.
- Contact the office to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and authority. Applicable law, required record retention and the type of information determine the available response; a website request does not automatically delete a dental record.
- For clinical-record access, amendments, confidential communication and other health information rights, see the HIPAA Notice.
Texting and email
Selecting Continue to text opens your messaging app with the office number and prepared message. Nothing is sent until you choose Send. Standard messaging or data charges may apply. Ordinary SMS and email can be seen by others with access to your device or account and are not the same as a secure patient portal.
The text form does not subscribe you to a marketing program. Ask the office if you want a different way to communicate. Do not rely on website messages or texts for an emergency or an immediate response.
Retention, security and children
We retain information for the time needed for the purpose for which it was collected, applicable recordkeeping obligations and legitimate operational needs. Retention can differ between website logs, communications and dental records. No website, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
The website is intended for adults arranging care for themselves or their families, not for children under 13 to provide information on their own. A parent or authorized guardian should contact the practice for a child. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate involvement, contact us.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will post the revised version here and update its effective or revision date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
